The online video sharing will hist the 2008 US Presidential race to an online battle.
YouTube rolled out the “You Choose 08” which is a political channel that allows viewers to communicate with the candidates. More then that Google announced for the first time in the history, an online political debate.

The debates are created with the support of CNN, the famous YouTube partner that will broadcast some of the most interesting questions asked by the registered members.

"Today we're announcing another way that YouTube is leveling the political playing field: The CNN/YouTube debates. For the first time in history, the questions asked in both a Democratic and a Republican primary debate will come straight from YouTube videos," Steve Grove, Head of News and Politics, YouTube, said.

If you want to be a part of this political debates, you should: create your own political discussion including your questions and upload it on the specially created channel. Then, hope that CNN will ask your question on July 23 when the Democratic debate goes Live on the TV channel. Please keep in mind that your question has to have less than 30 seconds and offer high audio and video quality. Also, you're allowed to choose one or all the candidates if you want to obtain a better answer for your question.

"So what makes a good question? Make sure to read the guidelines on the debate page; CNN will choose questions that are personal, short, and relevant. When possible, make sure to give context to your question – the power of video is that you can show us where you're coming from instead of just telling us," Steve from CitizenTube tried to reveal some tricks.
