Every day Samsung is releasing products or at least in presenting its intention about some of the company’s plans. Here is another announcement from Samsung about its new mobile phone which seems to be the slimmest phone.

The Ultra-Edition 5.9 Samsung SCH-C210 was launched in Korea. It is only 5.9 mm thin, 115 mm long and 48.3 mm wide. It's enough to make it easy to handle and comfortable to hold, say its producers. So it should be, considering the fact that it weights only 56 g.

Samsung has been the first one to break boundaries by introducing extremely slim mobile phones several times. Whether it is enough for them or if their struggles to flatten their cellulars even more will continue is uncertain.

The phone features Power Usage Solution (OPUS), which increases possible talk time by 10%, power saving by 30% and battery capacity by 10%. Moreover, it is equipped with a 3MP camera, a 1.93'' color TFT screen and can play music up to 11 hours. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, an electronic dictionary and MP3 playback. Moreover, it permits data transfer with the PC, as it connects to it by USB.

In order to increase this phone's durability, Samsung used a “Smart Surface Mounting Technology”, which actually means that the handset is reinforced with magnesium and fiber glass.

The price of this slim gadget from Samsung will be of approximately USD430.
