SONY VAIO Z: Thin, ultra-light 13.1” notebook PC with innovative new Power Media Dock and thickness of 16.65 mm

New, executed in the shell of carbon fiber, has a thickness of 16.65 mm and weighs 1.18 kg. The model is equipped with a screen diagonal of 13.1 inches; the resolution can reach 1600 x 900 or 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The basis of the notebook is an Intel Core Second Generation (i5-2410M, i5-2540M or i7-2620M) with integrated graphics core HD 3000.
According to the configuration, model is 4 or 8 GB of DDR3-1333 and has SSD up to 256GB. It is powered novelty of pre-64-bit Windows 7.
The device has web-resolution 1.3 MP camera, adapters, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, unit 3G, fingerprint reader, USB 3.0 ports and output HDMI.
Native laptop battery provides up to 7 hours of battery life. Optionally, you can buy an additional flat battery, extending this period to 14 hours.
In addition, the company introduced a docking station Power Media Dock.
The device can extend the functionality of a laptop, making available a discrete graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 1 GB of memory GDDR3, optical drive, DVD or Blu-ray, LAN Gigabit Ethernet, and doubling the number of connectors USB, HDMI and D-Sub.
Price-to-date of the model VAIO Z to the manufacturer's site begins with a mark of 1799 euros. Notebook shipment scheduled for the end of July.
