Sharp RW-T107 NFC-supporting Android tablet appears on September

That is why Sharp Corporation, Japanese Multinational Corporation that designs and manufactures electronic products, introduces its own tablet device. The RW-T107 NFC (Near field communication)-supporting Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) tablet will appear at markets on September 5th. This will be a 7-inch tablet suitable for commercial applications.

The tablet works with the FeliCa contactless RFID smart card system and provides up to 8 hours of performance due its a 5,400 mAh battery. Charging time is aprox. 5 hours.

The product is the first NFC enabled tablet to the market. Sharp plans to release 5,000 units per month but this number may be increased depending on its success.
