Samsung’s LTE devices Galaxy S II smartphone and Galaxy Tab 8.9 announced for release

Elena Vnorovscaia / Chişinău / Moldova.ORG / -- The multinational conglomerate corporation headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul, South Korea announces officially introduction of its LTE (Long Term Evolution) versions of its Galaxy S II flagship smartphone and of the still unavailable Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablet.

The Galaxy S II LTE specs and features:
a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor (the 'regular' S II has a 1.2 GHz chip), a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen (up from 4.3-inch on the S II non-LTE), a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera capable of 1080p video recording, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and powered by Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE specs and features:
a 1.5 GHz chip,an 8.6mm-thick casing, an 8.9-inch (1280 x 800) touchscreen, a rear-facing 3 megapixel camera (can record 720p video) with LED flash, a front 2MP camera, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a digital compass, a microSD slot, stereo speakers, an USB 2.0 port and a 6000 mAh battery.

As Samsung claims, the devices can download and upload speeds of 100 Mbps and 50 Mbps, respectively, connected to a 4G LTE network.

The price and data information is still unknown.
