Samsung Present the D840 Ultra Edition Handset
Moldova.ORG -- Samsung announced a new mobile phone the D840 that will surprise you with its functions.
The tri-band handset works on 900, 1800, 1900 MHz networks and comes with a superb 262k colors 2.12 inch TFT display, capable of displaying graphics at a resolution of 240x320 pixels. The phone has a music player with support for MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA audio files, a document viewer with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF compatibility, the latest Java MIDP 2.0 technology, a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, vCard, vCalendar, a PIM, TV output and a battery with a 250 hours standby.
The D840 also featuring a 2 megapixel digital camera with flash, video recording capabilities and a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, USB 1.1, Bluetooth 1.2, EDGE and GPRS data transfer technologies, 70 MB of embedded memory and a microSD memory expansion cars slot waiting for you to expand the phone's storage space.
Another specification of the phone it has a nice metallic look, measuring 99 x 51 x 11.9 mm and weighing 100 grams.
The device is going to be available from Vodafone, Orange and the Carphone Warehouse and the price tag will depend on the contract you are going to sign with one of the carriers that will support it.
