Why is so important in our days that the things to become smaller and smaller? Where are the people who were saying that they love all what is big? Maybe these is not reducing when we talk about the gadgets that came in our lives, gadgets without we can not go on.

Sony made a big step and presented its Pocket Bit Mini line of USB flash drives (also known as Micro Vault Tiny for our US readers).

The important feature of the new USM-HX is, obviously, the external look. Even if the drivers are really small, they look very attractive in black or white.

The devices in the series also sport a very innovative type of case, which allows a drive's USB connector to either face outwards (when inserted in a PC's Universal Serial Bus port) or inwards (during travel), as well as a swiveling cover (for extra security).
The flash drives from the USM-HX series are available in 1 GB and 2 GB flavors, and, as most of the other portable storage solutions launched over the past 2 years, provide extensive support for the ReadyBoost feature in Windows Vista

Sony promise to roll out on the market more and new drivers, even the new Pocket Bit Mini line an encryption software and a virtual expander tool that maximizes the drive's usable space.

What is not so amazing at the new mini drivers, is the fact that the consumers will become the Japanese. Company will make available the devices in September for the price of $34 (1 GB version) and $52 (2 GB version).
