Philips Xenium 9@9m released

Philips announced the new Xenium 9@9m phone model.

Xenium 9@9m has 105 x 50 x 17 mm with only 109 grams in weight which means that it is one third smaller than the Sony Ericsson P900 similar model.

Philips Xenium 9@9m looks like a PDA phone with a large number of special features. An important thing to add is that supports only Java.

More than that, it has an internal memory of 70MB, but it is also capable of supporting microSD cards as to further improve that performance. As for multimedia features, this mobile phone has a 2 megapixel camera with flash that can also make high quality video recordings. Aside from that, Philips Xenium 9@9m is also capable of playing MP3 and AMR music files.

Philips Xenium 9@9m is not capable of 3G support, EDGE data or even WiFi, although it does have Bluetooth support. Even more, the USB port is capable of 1.1 connection, which means low transfer rates.

The maker company announced the launch of the device this month, but did not reported any information about the price.
