People stay more time on Facebook than Google

According to market researcher ComScore, Internet users choose to spend more time socializing on Facebook than searching on Google.

ComScore said U.S. Web users, in August, spent 41.1 million minutes on Facebook. That inched past the 39.8 million minutes that Net users spent on all of Google's sites combined. It includes the search engine, YouTube, Gmail, Google News, Google Reader and Google Buzz.

It is actually a very big step for Facebook. An avarage user spends 20 minutes or more per day socializing with friends, family and colleagues.
