New storage solution: LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt (VIDEO)

The device is already available for the purchase and waits for its future owners in two flavors, with two 1TB and two 2TB 2.5-inch HDDs.

The product’s manufacturer highlights the next three advantages of the LaCie Little Big Disk:

There is also a 120GB SSD model, but it will arrive the next month.

The dual-HDD Little Big Disk with Thunderbolt offers transfer speeds of up to 190 MB/s (the SSD unit tops 480 MB/s), features an aluminum enclosure, two Thunderbolt ports, and comes with a three-year warranty. LaCie's storage solution measures 40 x 140 x 85 mm, it weighs just 650 grams.

The Apple's web store is ready to provide everybody with the LaCie product.

The 500GB model costs $399.95 and the 1TB unit is priced at $499.95.
