New improved ODD: The Samsung’s SE-506AB Blu-Ray writer!

The optical disk drive (ODD) features USB connectivity, hi-glossy anti-scratch surface and low power consumption. Also it represents the Buffer Under Run technology to prevent errors that may result from writing speeds that exceed data transfer speeds, while also enabling PC multitasking.
The new ODD is 12 percent smaller than Samsung's conventional Blu-ray drive for higher mobility. It is compatible with practically all known operating systems, including Win7 and Mac OS.
The device’s manufacturer proudly announced that the driver recognizes and allows access to the fifth sub-directory and more than 3000 files. The SE-506AB’s AV connectivity technology will provide its users easy connection and content’s performance via AV connectivity function on multimedia TVs with an available USB port.

In addition its design compiles with international environmental regulations that limit the use of hazardous materials.
The Samsung’s SE-506AB ODD will be available at the end of August 2011 at online retail outlets. The recommended price for the product is $140.00.
