New Buffalo’s External HDDs cut power consumption by up to 98%! (PHOTO)

For durable performance, there are internal rubber mounts, so as to counter vibrations, even if being left on a desk for an indeterminate period of time doesn't leave much risk of shocks.
The only thing that surprises that Buffalo prefers to stick with the USB 2.0 standard instead of throwing in the benefits of USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed) which means that copying anything onto the drives and filling all the available space will last a little bit too long.

The products measure 39 x 123 x 189 mm, weight 1kg, come in both black and white color versions.
