NEC launch The N902iL

NEC- the Japanese mobile phone manufacturer has recently presented the N902iL, a dual-network mobile phone that can easily switch between the FOMA network and wireless LAN.

The handset is compatible with mobile operator DoCoMo's Mobile Centrex .
The PASSAGE Duple (meant for companies with a PBX) and IP Centrex services are being offered to assist customers in outsourcing a PBX. Due to its support for IEEE802.11g and IEEE802.11e the phone brings wireless LAN access at up to 54Mbps as well as better voice quality.

Features include a 2.5 inch 262k color screen with a QVGA+ resolution as well as a monochrome external screen, a built-in camera, full Web browser, PDF reader, bar-code reader and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion.


The NEC N702iL measures 106 x 51 x 25 and weighs 123 grams, which is pretty much your average for an Asian clamshell. It will be available through NTT DoCoMo and at the moment there is no information regarding its price.
