NASA's new free iPad app
By Stela Roman
NASA launches a free iPad app, which supports both WiFi and 3G streaming. The new app will offer mission information, photos, videos, and factoids.
This is basically an improved version of the already existing iPhone app. Something new about it is that there is a live stream of the NASA TV channel, as well as the picture bank and a lot of other videos.
The software is called NASA App HD, and it also gives the possibility to learn more about planets and stars. All you have to do is click on a planet or star and the app will display information, including a description of the object and missions related to it.
