Moldova with highest rates of software piracy in the world
Moldova continues to be among the countries with the highest rates of software piracy for PCs, according to a Business Software Alliance study.
Seven countries of 110, analyzed in the study, have a piracy rate equal or even higher than 90%: Georgia, Bangladesh, Armenia, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan and the Republic of Moldova.
This indicator is equal to 66% in Romania. The lowest rates are recorded in the USA 20%, Japan and Luxemburg 21%, New Zeeland 22%.
Of 110 analyzed countries, PC software piracy decreased in 57 states.
