Macworld vs CES
Moldova.ORG --Last week in Las Vegas at the CES 2007 was presented all the giants from the tech world, except one, Apple. Company decided to launch its first and long waited phone at the MacWorld show.
At the Consumer Electronics Show 2007 was more than 140.000 people which was amazed by the new technologies presented. Anybody who passed there was expecting the launch of the new products which will help and entertainment the consumers in the future.
At the show companies like Nokia launched new phones from the N series, LG presented its new world's biggest display for home use from Sharp which has 108-inch. Also Intel presented an 8-core desktop and this is just a few of the products shipped there.
Meanwhile , at MacWorld Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs announced the iPhone to about 4,000 reporters. Jobs pulled the iPhone from his pocket, gave a lengthy demonstration of the device, and earned a standing ovation at the end.
"The astounding thing is that Apple announced basically two products and they got, I think, more buzz announcing two products than CES did for launching thousands," said Gartner analyst Van Baker.
