Joint enterprise LG and Philips will change the name

Joint enterprise LG Electronics and Royal Philips Electronics under name LG Philips Displays has decided to change the name on LP Displays. The new brand will appear on April, 1st, 2007. On it informs edition Digitimes.com.

Under a new brand of the company will continue to work above technologies CRT TV and will try to increase the influence in developing markets. Headquarters LG Philips Displays will be still in Hong Kong. The total of employees of firm remains at a level of 11 thousand persons.

LG Electronics already experienced full-scale of rebranding. In 1995 the company based in October, 1958 under mark Goldstar, began to refer to LG.
