Apple made a big step by introducing some time ago the iPod – it revolutionized all the music industry, so now the iPhone will do the same in the mobile industry.

In the internet here is a lot of opinions about the impact of the device on the industry. There are people who do not like the new concept, other think that the new Apple’s device is another level of the gadget industry.

Here is what Blackfriars analyst Aric Winton think about this “Microsoft's overwhelmingly dominant position in the desktop OS market has let it go ahead with proprietary systems and formats time and time again keeping users locked in without being too obvious about it." After its opinion Microsoft has reason to fear the iPhone, both for its sales potential and its disruption of Microsoft's traditional business model of proprietary protocols and customer lock-in.

Blackfriars shows that Microsoft "sold about 7 million cell phones running Windows Mobile in the world." That was compared to Apple's stated goal of selling 10 million phones before the end of 2008.

According to the analysis, the conclusion is that iPhone are conquering the mobile market. Moreover, Apple plans to release its device in Europe and then in all world, this may cause a real threat not only for Microsoft but for the other mobile makers.
What if all these mobile producers will join to the iPhone concept? What would be then?
