Facebook founders pay $170,000 to get high legally
By Stela Roman
Sean Parker, Facebook's first president, has donated $100,000 to support legalizing pot in California, according to a spokeswoman for the Proposition 19 campaign.
He is following the lead of his fellow Facebook co-founder, Dustin Moskovitz, who reportedly made two donations that totaled $70,000 to the measure.
While Facebook's cofounders are backing the initiative, Facebook the company is blocking ads from Just Say Now, an organization backing the same proposition.
Though Parker and Moskovitz still have ownership stakes in Facebook, they are no longer working with the website.
