CeBIT 2007: Benq P51 PDA Phone
The trade fairs are organized not only for the exposition of the newest devices, but also to announce the plans of new devices, and not only.
Last year at the CeBIT, Benq Mobile has announced the P51 Pocket PC phone. This year the company finally released it.
The pocket phone includes support for quad-band GSM/GPRS (but not EDGE), WIFI and Bluetooth with stereo headset support for connectivity, and SDIO slot, 1.3 megapixel camer and a 2.8 inch touchscreen with a QVGA resolution. Moreover it is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC edition and boasts GPS capabilities.
For the user's spare time, the Benq P51 will also work as a decent MP3 player and includes a memory card slot compatible with SD and MMC cards, so music storing won't be something to worry about. Finally, if they had launched it soon after the announcement, it would have been quite an appealing device.
The P51 is now available in Singapore and Turkey.
