Bill Gates to graduate Harvard
The founder of Microsoft and the richest man in the world, will graduate after 32 years he abandoned the Harvard University.
During his junior year, Gates dropped out of the university to work full-time on Microsoft, a company he and his childhood friend Paul Allen founded.
Gates will take part at the commencement ceremony that will take place June 7, 2007.
"I am very pleased that the Harvard community will have the opportunity to hear from Bill Gates on June 7," said Paul Finnegan, president of the Harvard Alumni Association. "His contributions to the world of business and technology, and the great example he has set through his far-reaching philanthropy, will rightfully put him on center stage in Harvard Yard. I look forward to greeting him in June."
At one time with the ceremony will be the reunion from the graduated in 1977, with which Gates started his studies at Harvard.
