Apple's Ping has 1 million users in 48 hours!

In just a couple of days, Apple's Ping music social network has managed to gain 1 million users! It is a great result for a social network. On the other hand it is not so surprising because more than 160 million people have iTunes.
So what is Ping? It's a music-centric social network where users can follow updates from both their friends and their favorite music artists. The site includes custom song and album charts, a news feed and concert listings.
Launched on Wendesday, Ping already've been through a lot of problems: spam attacks, issues with Facebook Connect, international access issues and unclear policies for musicians have plagued the service.
