Apple will pay royalties to Nokia
Elena Vnorovscaia/ Chişinău / Moldova.ORG/ -- Well known as rivals Apple and Nokia has come to the deceisions of their old issues in copyright interest sphere. Apple will pay royalties for the use of Nokia’s technologies.
The two companies were in dispute since October 2009 on certain technologies used by the Finnish group's iPhone manufacturer. That year Nokia sued the manufacturer of iPhone in the U.S. for illegal use of Finish technologies.
Nokia managed an important victory over U.S. rival Apple after the company agreed to pay a sum of money initially and periodically, copyrights, to end a dispute about some of the technologies used by the Finnish group's iPhone manufacturer. Nokia has received from Apple an amount of money that has not been made public, but regular payments for the use of technology company in the form of copyright.
So now Nokia is the first good news for a long time. Now they can focus on business, plus the dispute ended in their favor, as was said by one of its analyst representatives.
Nokia has lost the initiative on the smartphone market dominated by iPhones and Android phones powered by Google.
Earlier this week, Japanese bank Nomura predict that Nokia will lose its position in this quarter's largest manufacturer of smart phones for Samsung Electronics, and the next quarter Apple will be exceeded.
Conflicts have reached the courts have become more frequent in the mobile industry in recent years after Apple and Google have provided "slices" very profitable major market for smartphones against older players, who failed to take pace with innovation.
