Alltel presents new gadgets

Alltel launched its own version of the mobile phone LG VX8600, dubbed the AX8600, which will be available in three joyful colors.
The phone has been offered the second largest US wireless carrier Verizon in a glossy black color, looking somewhat like the Chocolate.

Alltel users will be able to pick between the the three color variations the phone is available in, including Vivid-Blue, Lime-Green and Champagne-Gold.

LG AX8600's features are exactly the same as the VX8600's and it comes with dedicated music-control keys on the front cover, a 262k color main screen with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, a 65k color external screen with a 160 x 128 pixel resolution, EV-DO high speed data transfer, media player and support for MP3 and WMA file formats.

To complete the list, the phone also packs a MicroSD card slot enabling users to store a whole collection of tracks, Bluetooth for connectivity with quite a few profiles supported, voice dialing and speakerphone.

The LG AX8600 comes with a price tag of $49.99.
