Acer's Iconia Smart 4.8-inch smartphone to ship next month
Elena Vnorovscaia / Chişinău / Moldova.ORG / -- Finally Acer's Iconia Smart 4.8-inch smartphone arrives to markets! The LCD touchscreen boasting a resolution of 1024 x 480 pixels (21:9 aspect ratio) device will appear in mid-September 2011.

You should know that besides Dell Streak 5 that comes with 5 inch screen, there is no other smartphone with the size screen close enough to tablet size, but Acer’s latest smartphone – Iconia Smart. The reason why Acer makers are sure that the Iconia Smart will be much more popular than the mentioned above Dell Streak 5 is that the Streak 5 is not small and comfortable enough to be held in one hand as other standard smartphone, but also not big enough to enjoy the display.
The Iconia Smart is decided to be launching at €499 (aprox. $705 USD) without any service agreements. But the information didn’t mention the US release date and availability as well as the exact date of shipping.
