50 cent to find new talents on YouTube
Some singer already found with the help of YouTube new talents. You know that I am talking about Justin Timberlake.
So, more artists want to do the same thing. Next is 50 cent who launched a contest on YouTube encouraging emcees to upload videos and clips with them in action in order to win some exciting prizes. The winner of the competition will win a contract with G-Unit/Interscop Records to record a single and a $10.000 prize offered by Guitar Center. The rules are simple: you should upload an up to 5 minutes clip with your rhymes and beats and pray to be the lucky one.
Of course there are some conditions. First of all you have to be a US resident and to have at least 18 years old. "If your video was awesome, but didn't make the cut, you may very
well see it featured in the Music category or other premier spots on our site. Contests of this nature are a great way for your work to be seen by many people and get the exposure it deserves," YouTube mentioned in the description of the contest.
"Anything you submit to YouTube OnTheRise contest must be 100% your own original content. That means all beats, samples from any other tracks, lyrics, and everything else, must have been created solely by you. Any copyrighted or "borrowed" content found in a submitted video will call for immediate disqualification of the entry. We want you to be as creative, resourceful and original as possible."
Justin Timberlake with the help of the online service found a treasure. The first lucky singer is a 18 years old Esmee Denters, and she joined Timberlake in the European tour "FutureSex/LoveSounds".
After the Justin’s intention the conclusion is that YouTube is not only a simple online video sharing service because it is a valuable database of information for numerous Internet users.
