YouTube wins in the lawsuit with Ronaldo's ex-wife
In the beginning of the year, Daniella Cicarelli and YouTube had a little fight because of the video posted with ex-wife of Ronaldo and her lover. The lawsuit that began at hat time, has finally ended. The attorney of YouTube and Daniella Cicarelli, went to the court room after the woman accused Google for copyright infringement and for violating its privacy. In fact, the online video sharing service did nothing as the users are the ones who are continuously uploading clips on its page but Daniella Cicarelli said that the sex video could have been stopped from publication by the parent company.
Ars Technika reported that "a Brazilian judge has ruled in favor of YouTube, Globo Comunicaзхes e Participaзхes, and Internet Group do Brasil (iG) this week in a case involving Brazilian model Daniella Cicarelli and a sex video.

Cicarelli and her boyfriend, Tato Malzoni, had sued YouTube after a video of the couple having sex on a public beach in Brazil appeared on the site. The pair argued that YouTube was violating their privacy. Judge Gustavo Santini Teodoro ruled that the couple's privacy claims were unfounded and ordered Cicarelli to pay fees to each of the defendants."
The win for the online video sharing means a lot, because all the time YouTube was involved in such kind of scandals and lawsuits. Once again YouTube's officials said that they have no fault since all the clips are controlled by the users. All they can do is filter some content and remove certain vids once the author requires them to do so. In this case, Google's employees deleted the clips several times but the users were continuously uploading them back.
